Linspace Group joins the Habanero Networks Group

In December 2025, Habanero Networks GmbH acquired all shares in Linspace Holding GmbH, based in Leipzig. Linspace was the first acquisition of the Munich-based group of companies and has since formed its foundation in fiber optics, network operations and secure communications. Managing Directors Torsten Below and André Mamitzsch will continue to lead the company. Linspace Group, headquartered in Leipzig, plans, builds and operates secure infrastructure. Since 2018, the company has grown under the leadership of Torsten Below and André Mamitzsch into a strong regional provider. Today, Linspace covers the entire value chain from planning and rollout to the operation of modern network infrastructures, and positions itself as a reliable partner for municipalities and network operators. Its focus areas are fiber-optic planning and rollout including field service, network operations with its own 24/7 Network Operations Center, as well as security technology and secure communications. Matthias Gawronski and Peter Dressel are responsible for field service and fiber-optic rollout. Linspace stands out with a broad portfolio of certifications and proven expertise in CRITIS and NIS-2. Its customers also include municipal utilities and housing companies. With the acquisition, Habanero Networks has laid the first building block for a group of companies that offers network, communications and security technology from a single source. In July 2026, Amrehn – Sicherheit & Technologie, a specialist in securing financial institutions, joined the group. Linspace benefits from the group's nationwide presence and shared resources while remaining independent: its name, its Leipzig location, its team and its management remain unchanged. Connecting the companies with one another is a core part of building the group. Linspace and Amrehn are already working on joint projects and benefit from the exchange within the group. Torsten Below and André Mamitzsch, Managing Directors of Linspace Group: “For us, it was crucial to find a partner with whom we can develop Linspace over the long term and actively help shape the group of companies. With Habanero Networks, we have found that partner. We remain rooted in Leipzig and continue to stand by our customers with their familiar contacts. At the same time, within the group we can expand our competencies and take on new projects together. In doing so, we contribute our experience in fiber-optic planning, rollout, network operations and security technology.” Marc Mielmann, Managing Partner of Habanero Networks GmbH: “Linspace was our first acquisition and remains the foundation of our group to this day. Torsten Below, André Mamitzsch and their team combine technical excellence with a deep understanding of the requirements of network operators and the housing industry. Together, we are building a systems integrator that unites network technology and physical security from a single source.” The parties have agreed not to disclose the details of the transaction, in particular the purchase price. Habanero Networks adds Amrehn – Sicherheit & Technologie to Its Group of Companies

Amrehn – Sicherheit & Technologie GmbH is a well-established security systems integrator and manufacturer of its own solution for preventing robberies at financial institutions. With this acquisition, Habanero Networks GmbH is strengthening its position in the financial sector. Amrehn – Sicherheit & Technologie, which has been established in the industry for many years, develops security concepts. To implement these concepts, the company installs and maintains security technology–such as alarm systems, video surveillance, access control, fire detection systems, and safes–and is distinguished above all by its excellent service and rapid response times. Commercial, public, and private customers with higher security needs value the company’s expertise; it is also listed with the State Criminal Police Office (LKA). Its proprietary software solution, BioPortA, for controlling various security solutions rounds out the portfolio. Through the acquisition of the VdS-certified Lower Franconian company, Habanero can expand its expertise in security systems and enter the strategically important market of financial institutions. This opens up another critical customer segment for the Habanero Networks Group. Markus and Klaus Amrehn commented: “Financial institutions are already classified as critical infrastructure. In this sector–as well as in our business with small and medium-sized enterprises–the need for reliable and effective security solutions is constantly growing. With Habanero Networks as our strategic partner, we consider ourselves well-equipped to meet future challenges: thanks to a broader portfolio, a nationwide presence, and the ability to maintain all necessary certifications, leverage synergies, and harness the strength of the group–all while preserving our independence and corporate culture–that’s what ultimately convinced us.” Klaus Amrehn announces another change: “With Habanero as a shareholder and my son Markus as managing director, the succession plan has worked out exactly as I had envisioned. I am certain that the company is in good hands.” Klaus Amrehn, the company’s founder, will thus step down from management but remain with the company as a consultant during a transition phase. “But I’ll continue to contribute as long as I’m needed,” he adds with a smile. Alexander Müller, Managing Partner of Habanero Networks GmbH: “Amrehn – Sicherheit & Technologie holds an outstanding position in the critical infrastructure sector and occupies a unique market position with its solutions for financial institutions. Together, we see great potential to further develop our offerings within the Habanero Group and to support customers even more comprehensively in the future at the intersection of network technology and physical security.” Habanero Networks GmbH, headquartered in Munich, is a group of companies specializing in network, communications, and security technology with a focus on critical infrastructure, the public sector, and regulated industries. The company’s goal is to establish itself as a leading system integrator in Germany for resilient and secure infrastructure. Today, more than 60 employees work within the group.
